Lindhill cooks breakfast for young homeless

Lindhill joined forces with London property developers this week (28 February) to cook breakfast at a charity event for young homeless people at the New Horizon Youth Centre near Kings Cross, London.

Hosted by long-serving charity supporter and Channel 4 News presenter Jon Snow, a healthy discussion ensued of ways to address the lack of emergency accommodation in London, which has just one shelter open all year round.

East Ham Working Men’s Club redevelopment gets the green light

A 130-year old community stronghold is due to move into new premises after striking a deal with a developer. Planning chiefs at Newham Council have approved plans for a five-storey residential building on the site of East Ham Working Men’s Club in Boleyn Road.

Last call: East Ham Working Men’s Club closes its doors ahead of site redevelopment

The East Ham Working Men’s Club has closed its doors ahead of the redevelopment of its almost half an acre site in Boleyn Road. The existing two-storey venue will be demolished to make way a five-storey residential building, however the club will re-open in a space on the ground floor after striking a deal with the developer Lindhill.
